Question by Jason J: Can anyone help me with Brake Calipers?
On Corvette’s (A red one for example) the brake caliper is painted the color of the car (red) with white lettering that says “Corvette”. My question is, where can I find calipers for my car? I don’t have a Corvette, but I have Toyota Celica. I would like to get red brake calipers that say “Celica”. Does anyone know how to obtain these?

Don’t exist. What you can do is paint the calipers red then apply a decal that says celica and clearcoat over it. I’ve actually seen someone do this well on a saturn ion redline…blue, but it doesn’t look sleazy like most caliper paint. Otherwise, you could get them powdercoated (as they SHOULD be) and apply the decal and clearcoat over it.
You can find the “contour cut” decals on ebay or have someone on there cook some up for you. Still…it won’t increase performance and won’t impress anyone. You don’t really need a brake upgrade (wilwood, baer, brembo kit) unless you turbocharge or supercharge your car…brake kits are expensive and most companies actually charge for powdercoated calipers.
